This is not my usual "style" of painting. It's not one of my long term projects that I spend weeks on. I did this one quickly, staying "loose" (for me anyway).

I tried to create the moths with limited brush strokes. Rather than attempt to get them done in my usual way, I tried to "suggest" them.

I enjoyed trying something different, and I think the outcome is decent.

I really like the detail of the caterpillar inside the eye socket. It makes me think there are a whole bunch of larvae in there, eventually emerging from the skull as new life from death.
