BIO-MACHINE FORM 2 by RSConnett BIO-MACHINE FORM 2 by RSConnett
Acrylic on canvas - 12 x 12"

This painting is No. 2 in a series of 'bio-machine' like forms which contain both organic and non organic elements.

I'm trying to blend my visions of elegant machine forms and forms found in nature in a new way.

I'm trying to let my mind run free, allowing the forms to evolve on their own. However, my inspirations are nature and the things mankind has created to mimic nature and to serve us.

I want to let these ideas flow from me in a spontaneous way. I try to stay in 'the zone' while I make these, thinking about nothing other than the relationships that develop during the process.

I hope that each will be more dense, intricate and elegant than its predecessor.

I have limited my pallet to 4 colors ~ blue/green/purple/burnt sienna (brown)

the common theme of these glassy black eyes creeps me out, they remind me of spiders eyes

I feel reminded of images from these incredibly ugly faszinating deep-sea fishes. You know, the ones with enourmous teeth and illuminants.

but this has a somewhat friendly expression. and a curious one

remember man... too many colors... too many troubles...

... it shows great, no doubt about it... but...

... theres to many circles... or circular waves that i can reach to see the front or one side of the machine... its shows hard... shows a chaotic shape... i like it XD...

... out of that, it is a great paint...

... im really bad using acrilic, most of the time i used them only for the background and then only oleo...

... nice work, keep up the good work.
